Ways to connect with
Giving Back at UNO!

Wear Black, Give Back!

UNO’s annual day of giving supports YOU and your faculty and staff.

Alumni, faculty, staff and students support your experience by making gifts to scholarships, specific colleges and programs, Omaha Athletics, Criss Library, student organizations, the Maverick Food Pantry, and so much more.

Thank a Donor Day!

Thank a Donor Day (TADD) is a new, annual opportunity for students to say thank you to the donors who support their education.

You can write a thank you card to the donors who support your scholarships, your athletic team, your college, your student organizations, and more! Your card will be sent directly to these donors! Look out for more information about TADD.

Grads Give

UNO graduating seniors make gifts to support future and current Mavericks!

Graduating Seniors give to the Maverick Food Pantry, the Student Scholarship Fund, and the UNO Student Hardship Fund. Gifts of $5 or $10 make a big difference in the lives of current UNO students.

The Maverick Food Pantry

The Maverick Food Pantry provides food, toiletries, and personal hygiene items to students, faculty, and staff.

The Maverick Food Pantry is made possible by generous faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members who donate items and gifts directly to the pantry.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Student Scholarships

Donations to scholarships provide financial support for students to obtain education they may not have access to otherwise.

“This is the road of life that I want to be on right now, and I wouldn’t be here without people giving out of the goodness of their heart.” – Justice Kellett, psychology major

Student Organizations

Giving to student organizations helps support the development of leadership skills, fosters community engagement, and enhances educational experiences beyond the classroom.

“When you put yourself around positive people and just create those friendships, you kind of want to become a better person. I feel like I’ve discovered myself as a person since joining the Maniacs.” – Casey Wells, Maverick Maniacs President

Your College and Classes

Donating to your college enriches the academic programs and facilities for you and future Mavericks.

“Thanks to the University of Nebraska at Omaha and the School of Accounting, I have options now.” – Charles Castle, senior accounting and business analytics major

Student Support and Resources

Donations to the UNO Hardship and Resiliency Support Fund help students facing unforeseen crises, ensuring they can continue their education.

“Donors to DASH are giving hope without knowing who they’re giving hope to and I think that is so impactful. It’s like they have the seeds of wildflowers in their hands they’re throwing them in the air.” – Rachael Jensen, Executive Director of DASH
