UNO Gratitude Day Recap

UNO’s first Gratitude Day was a huge success!

On Thursday, April 3, the University of Nebraska at Omaha celebrated its first Gratitude Day with handwritten notes and video messages thanking the UNO community– alums, faculty, staff, students, friends, and fans – for making financial contributions and supporting their education each year.

At gratitude booths around campus, staffed by student volunteers, students shared their appreciation for their scholarships, colleges, student organizations, student emergency assistance, and wellness programs supported by private philanthropy.

Throughout the day, students wrote or recorded over 200 messages of gratitude to share with Maverick donors.

What an incredible celebration of appreciation!
